OFA Hip Film and OFA Fee is $115.00
Light sedation is available if needed for $75.00
OFA Patella Exam and OFA Fee is $15.00
**The WHWTCA will offer a free Patella Exam and OFA registry for dog of WHWTCA members that have both hips and patellas certified. The total cost of both exams to be reduced to $115.00
**Please consider participating in the Legg-Calf Perthes study though the Westie Foundation. The Foundation will pay the cost of the blood collection needed for the study. This is only for dogs having their hips x-rayed so a LCP view can be done simultaneously.

This is a great opportunity to check the knees and hips of both younger and older animals in your breeding program. Three health clearances are needed to have your Westie assigned a CHIC number. They are checking for luxating patellas and hip dysplasia, and examining eyes for cataracts and other ocular diseases. 
 All Westies participating in the clinic need their AKC registration information available and a permanent form of identification (microchip or tattoo). Short acting anesthesia will be available as needed for the hip x-rays. Bitches immediately coming into or going out of season should not submit hip x-rays since hormonal influences could alter OFA results.
